Un arab, murind, lasa mostenire 17 camile, care sa fie impartite precum urmeaza: primul fiu primeste 1/2 din numarul de camile, al doilea 1/3 si ultimul 1/9. Cum sa faca fara a taia camilele? |

Feciorii s-au adresat unui judecator. Acesta a venit calare pe camila sa. A adaugat camila sa la celelalte 17, facand astfel 18 camile. Apoi a dat 1/2 din 18, adica 9 camile, primului fiu; 1/3 din 18, adica 2 camile, celui de-al doilea; in sfarsit 1/9 din 18, adica 2 camile, celui de-al treilea. Rezultatul: 9+6+2=17. Judecatorul a incalecat apoi pe camila sa si a plecat. |
