Phoenix at Timişoara

Phoenix were in concert, last night (Friday 31st of March) in Timişoara, and "the haidouks" celebrated, this way, 44 years of the band life.

The fans that went to the "Olimpia" Hall have received CDs with the "Baba Novak" album as gifts. This album is the first one which is edited by the house records owned by the band. This album has 12 tracks and unites the current Phoenix with former band members, like Mircea Baniciu and Ovidiu Lipan "Ţăndărică". ,,This album was born late but still at time", Baniciu said. From the wish of valueing the traditions, the ,,Baba Novak" song, which names the album, is a patriotic song, with a balkan-specific rhythm.
