Acum pot sa dau si mai multe detalii, pentru ca a aparut solutia la problema zilei.
Ei bine, acest indicator este straniu din doua motive:
1) A fost plantat la malul Marii Moarte, adica lacul in care poti intra chiar si fara sa stii sa inoti...
2) Intre timp, lacul respectiv s-a retras foarte mult, iar indicatorul a ramas sa avertizeze de inec intr-un desert nisipos...

Supozitiile tale sunt gresite. Am fost acolo si am vazut acele semne si am primit explicatiile de rigoare.
In acel desert, cand ploua....si sunt perioade in fiecare an cand ploua torential, se formeaza niste viituri de apa foarte puternice care ajung la o inaltime de un metru si chiar mai mult in unele locuri. In timp s-au creat niste vai pe unde se scurg acele viituri si din aceasta cauza exista acele semne, nicidecum pentru Marea Moarta.

Si, intradevar, in Marea Moarta nu se inoata, se pluteste. Am vazut persoane care isi luau sezlongul de pe plaja si se bagau cu el in apa fara nici un fel de problema. Pluteau si faceau plaja. :)))) Un dobi a adormit si l-a dus vantul in larg de unde a trebuit sa fie adus cu elicopterul, contra cost, bineinteles. :))) Asta nu s-a intamplat cand am fost eu acolo dar "povestea" era renumita la toate hotelurile.
