DAAAAA...si este intr-un continuu proces de miniaturizare...de unde, la început, pe o suprafață de un centimetru pătrat erau reunite câteva sute de interconexiuni sau informații, în prezent numărul lor a ajuns la 25000, ceea ce duce și la o scădere vertiginoasă a prețului de cost...introducerea microcircuitelor – cunoscute în terminologia de specialitate și sub numele de «chips» (pastile) – are ca rezultat scăderea cu 99 la sută a prețului «unității de memorie» în raport cu prețul unităților de memorie ale tranzistoarelor clasice. :)))))
